When a girl is nice and chatty to everybody but me?

Theres this girl whom I've always felt she treats me differently. She is nice, giggly and chatty with everybody, she is a bit on the shy side but when she gets to know people, she opens up. I've known her for a while but she just seems nervous with me. She is a sarcastic smartass and is always telling me how unfunny I am and teasing me and calling me names. When I ask her why is she mean to me, she says it because I'm annoying. I've tried stopping talking to her but if I'm quiet too long she will go up to me and say hi and smile and stuff but still say I'm a pest. I've asked her to look right into my eyes and tell me I'm a pest and she will, but she will have this big grin one her face when she says it. What should I do here?

well I knew a girl like that... she was just been a total bitch to me calling me names and teasing me in a bad way. and just plain bullying which wasn't very nice... but it turns out at the end of it she was really jealous of me... she would talk to everyone in the group about her latest boyfriends and show everyone photos but she wouldn't show me and always keep me out..

you know she could be threatened by you either because your prettier than her or your more confident than she is. I think in this situation the girl is trying to be more like you by being as annoying as you are.. yeah take my word for it she is ever jealous of you or threatened by you. its one or the other

I think that she might actually like you. I think she just teasing you with the hot & cold tactics to see if you really like her back. If you do like this girl then you should ask her out on a date and see where that goes. If she says yes then you might have something with this girl. If she flat out says no or can't make up her mind then completely and I mean completely ignore her. This should eliminate her being nice to you all of a sudden and then being mean to you. She has never really been nice to me, maybe when we met. She can be LESS sarcastic and actually hold a decent conversation with me but she is not giggly like with others. I did kind of ignored her today when I saw her and she actually said hi and smiled really wide at me when we made eye contact (I'm usually the one who has to say hi to her first and she will respond with a bland greeting) so when I saw her smiling at me like that, I was kinda surprised.

She’s taking you for granted, she knows your into her and she can treat you how she likes and you’ll still be there chasing her. Don’t let her away with it any longer, walk away and ignore her but do t tell her why. That will annoy her more. Plenty more fish in the sea that will appreciate you
