The Greedy Roommate?

I just moved into a roommate situation.

My roommate is a older guy that is obese (400 pounds).

Moving in, I noticed that he has a kitchen, Refrigerator, and Garage full of food(some of it rotten or expired). Its quite obvious, he is a food hoarder.

The benefit to this arrangement is, I usually stay very fit and his taste in food is not what I care to eat.

Consequently, I eat out a lot like sandwiches etc. But I do have a lot of nutritional supplements.

Here is my concern/question:

I have noticed that my supplements have been disappearing from my containers. Not only is he consuming his food, but the small sustenance that I do possess, he is taking that as well.

At first I thought it was just my normal consumption. But it was disappearing faster than normal. So I started taking a count, and sure enough they are going missing.

Since the first occurrence, I moved all my supplements to my room.

However he has apparently found them and started to take them once more(of course, taking a count to confirm before jumping to conclusions).

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions without offending the perpetrator?
