Girls, what's up with having so many pillows?

First of all yes yes I know not all of you are pillow-maniacs. But I've seen quite a few girls like this.

I had to sleep in my stepsisters room last night. Her entire bed was filled with pillows. So many I had to layer them on top of each other to fit into bed.

What's the point of having so many bloody pillows? You don't sit on them, you have to move them out of the way when you sit down, and one pillow is all you need to sleep.

So seriously what's up with that?

It's like a lifeless friend to me. I can sob into it when I'm sad, I can hug it and lean on it when I am in need of comfort. My pillow has a pillow sheet to which at times can be a very convenient handkerchief! I love pillows, without them, I would be a very lonely child. :(

But! On a more serious note, I used to not have a single pillow in my bedroom. But then I read this article that by using pillows to elevate your head during sleep, water won't settle near your eyes. :P So it's mainly for my beauty sleep.

No, I slept like that since I was born, so I was quite used to it. But now I think it will. :( I have 4 pillows under my head right now, and taking that away would break my neck. :/

Haha, at first I thought it was neat for decor. I bought the whole comforter set + 5 pillows/cushions set for my bed. A month later, I shoved the pillows into the closet. It might've looked nice, but it was a nuisance. It was pretty ridiculous tackling the pillows in the middle of the night as if I were some superhero, having no other place to put them, and ending up only kicking them onto the floor. Off to the darkness Pillowsvillain went, and that's how Bedsville was saved.

I never understood this either I guess it's just for decoration.

I work at a hotel and they put 4 pillows on the king beds and 3 pillows on the queen beds and this stupid little tan pillow in front of all the pillows (so 5 on king 4 on queen)... I mean what the hell no one even uses it they usually throw it on the couch or something. So I'm guessing it's all for decoration.

My mom has a few pillows. One is obviously for her head while another one is for her neck and back. As you get older you tend to need a little more comfort and I guess extra pillows provides for that in some sort of way.

Also, she has what are called throw pillows. They're simply for decoration, but aren't necessary to sleep on.

Why not? I have about 10 pillows. They're just there.. Sometimes for hair purposes. :)

Some days I feel like sleeping on a silk pillow, other days a cotton pillow.. And perhaps, feather pillows..

One of them is for when I'm masturbating, put it under my back. You know?

I only have two cause I can't sleep without having two pillows under my head. I think girls just like to have lots of pillows for decoration purpose's. When I was a teen I would have like 6 pink pillows just for the looks. I don't think they actually use them. I also like to have one to have on my lap when I am using my laptop.
