Girl stares at me, but doesn't say anything?

There's this one girl that I run into at my gym sometimes . All we say is hi . every time she sees me she smiles. The other day she was working out in the machine next to me and she was staring at me , but did'nt open her mouth . I looked at her and had to say something just because it was so weird . So I said "You know , you're like the laziest person here , you're so relaxed when you work out " . Once she heard this , she smiled , gave a bit of a chuckle and continued her workout .

So what's going on here ? I don't think she's shy because I have seen her speaking to one or two other guys at the gym .

Well she may get disinterested because she might feel tired of waiting for something to happen, and because nothing happens between you 2 she gets disinterested and might move on,

she's waiting for you to make a move, she might be old fashioned that way. she thinks your cute that's why, she is flustered.

I've tried but every time she just says one or two words and appears disinterested

for a minute or so and as soon as I look away she starts staring ( this is what my friend told me )
