She stares at me but doesn't talk to me?

Over the past few months i have noticed that a coworker has been staring at me but we have not spoken to each other since she was rude to me awhile back. This has been going on for awhile now and one time on Super Bowl Sunday me and her were in the break room and she looked at me and raised her eyebrows at me and then she looked away.

Fast forward to last week she smiled at me and looked away and then looked at me again and smiled as she was going home. I have caught her looking at me as i'm walking to my Car or while im sitting in my car. When she is around me she's quiet but whenever she's around anyone else she's outgoing and friendly.

I've thought about going to talk to her but after that one night when she was rude to me i'm not sure if that's a good idea or not. I mean i'm just trying to do my job and go home but a friend of mine says i should go talk to her

So with that being said...

1) What the Hell is going on?
2) Should i go talk to her?

Whenever I'm personally interested in a guy I always find myself looking at them. If they happen to notice this I try to casually look away or even smile at them before I do so. I do this to gauge their reaction from a day to day basis.. if that next day I find him looking at me before I get a chance to look at him I'll shyly look away faster (I've been caught). This is a girls way of letting you know safely that she's interested.. she's putting the ball in your court now to come over and talk to her. If you don't she'll just think you're uninterested. As for the rude interaction, how rude? What did she say? She may have just been nervous to be around you/talk to you and didn't know what to say or how to say anything. Ever heard of 'boys pick on girls when they like them'? Well, its the same for girls, and we're more vicious.

The night she was rude to me she said something about "How there's cameras around and she was gonna pretend that this conversation never happened and she said it with a tone that said she wasn't happy" After i just got done making a kid laugh with a stuffed monkey when the kid was crying before hand and then a coworker and myself showed her the stuffed Monkey and that was when she snapped at me.
Keep in mind she goes and talks to everyone near her area where she works and she will laugh and goof off but the one time i do it it's fucking blasphemy. But maybe she was just picking on me like you said.

So you really think the ball is in my court?

I used to not be intimidated by her but now i am... and i don't know why

I believe she was picking on you. If she likes you the way I think she does she doesn't necessarily want you to know she's head over heels for ya. Talk to her...

I need to. A couple of my friends think she's testing me

yeah, i agree with them. she is most likely testing you in order to gauge just how much you like her. and to be quite honest i can't say for certain... if i knew the two of you itd be easier to decipher but as far as i know for now is that she's interested and quite honestly thats all that matters right now. she likes you bud, doesn't matter how much or how little.. its a start so, talk to her.

I can work with that ^ If you think she likes me than that's good enough for me. It's just how she acts around me is what confuses me

Girls are confusing.. but, guys are too. Letting someone know you're interested can be a scary thing.. I say you just go for it. Let me know how it goes, good luck :)

It can be really scary. What's funny is im the quiet guy and she's know for being outgoing and outspoken and yet she acts shy around me. This is quite the situation

Just go talk to her. Conversate and get to know her. She is prolly just shy to approach you.
