Can I fix something I did wrong on our second date?

so I just met this guy and of course I really like him. he asked me out on a date and it all went really good. Then 2 days later he asked me if I wanted to come hang out with him and his friends to a bar... we all started taking shots and we all got pretty drunk... I couldn't drive back so I stayed at his place...of course we started kissing and he tried to like go "farther" but I kind of stopped him so we pretty much just kissed. I'm the kind of girl that thinks that if I want the dating to go "somewhere" I need to make the guy wait for sex a little bit lol... any way, the point is that I got so drunk on the 2nd time I met him and even tho we didn't have sex I still ended up sleeping over. After that he has been texting me but he hasn't mentioned anything about meeting up again or something (once we were talking about music we like to dance to and I told him maybe we could try it some time? and he was just like "yeah, we can go sometime") does it mean I went from "dating material" to "just for now" type of girl? by the way we are around 26-27 yo... seems like he was only looking for a good time. a pity he didn't get what he want but at least you stood your ground. good on you. don't feel bad about it, if you did he might have treated you cold as well and wouldn't that be worse?

yeah you are right, it would have been worse if I did have something with him and then he just be like so cold.

I'm kind of confused tho, he didn't really seem to be like "looking for a good time"... plus he is the one who has been texting me... but well, maybe that is just the way I want to see it lol I guess if he would be interested he would have take my coment about go dancing as a perfect "excuse" to ask me out again... oh well! hahaha Thanks again!

anyway any invitation of the sort of "would you like to come over to my place?", I'd take it that you're ready to have sex with me. I'd be a bit bummed if you came over after pretty drunk and not willing to have sex with me. but that wouldn't stop me from trying again in the future.

hahaha true true... well I do remember when we were leaving the bar he was like, are you OK to drive?and I was like NO... then he was like, wanna come to my place... and I said "yeah I just need to sober up a little bit " doesn;t that count as "not ready for sex"? lol... guess not!

well any way... if he is just interested on sex, then I won't be wasting my time hahaha and I'll know better next time

No I mean, he probably just wanted sex. If he had been interested in having a girlfriend, he would have replied positively when you offered to go dancing, and waited a little for the sex part.
