i say hun a TON in person.. it's nothing to do with flirting.. then again it probably depends where you live, that'll be a huge thing in the south to do that... but anywhere else you don't really see it as just a normal word, it's more of a flirty connotation. so it just depends on where you live and if they say it a lot not just to you..

Well personally I sometimes call people 'hun' without any particular meaning. It just kind of comes out due to habit. But I guess it really depends on the girl - pay attention to whether or not she calls other people that too or just you.

Girls say this to almost everyone they know, their girlfriends and their male friends. You need to see how she treats you instead of focusing on that. If she flirty with you, there's always a chance she's into you but some girls are players just like us guys can be lol. Look a bit deeper.

For me it would be. I don't call anyone hun or babe unless I'm dating them. However, a lot of girls use these terms loosely in their everyday speech. So yes, there are people who use is as a way of flirting, but for so many it's just used out of habit or it's just something they say.
