Girls if you reschedule a hangout does it mean you don't like a guy?

The girl I like was supposed to hang out with me today but then she said she couldn't, but she said we could tomorrow or Wednesday. Is it bad that she rescheduled? Or because she rescheduled does it mean she actually wanted to hang out?

That's a great question -- one I'd ask the guys as well.

This one guy and I have schedules that just didn't mesh till this past week. We've been trying to meet up since Thanksgiving. I had classes, he had classes, I had meetings, he had meetings, deadlines of all sorts started popping up -- which we both knew to expect since there's a standard season for that sort of thing in the office.

We were both sort of shy about calling, so there was the regular text, "How's about next week?" "Can't. Office hours. The weekend?" "Can't. Reporting." till this week. Even then, we had to keep shifting the time, till finally he wrote, "So, do you want to meet for this famous coffee?" and I smiled, thinking Odysseus didn't take that long to get back to Penelope, lol. He met up with me at the shop just outside my office. A sweet guy. We chatted a little, till we both had to go, and he asked me if I'd join him for a proper coffee the following week.

SO, yes, we were both interested, just caught up in work and also a bit on the dorky side where dating protocols are concerned.

One reschedule means nothing. She could be legitimately busy. Two reschedules sounds suspicious. Three reschedules, give up, she's never gonna hang out with you.

A few exceptions, such as anon's work schedule conflict scenario, but in general, if a girl (or guy, I think) reschedules multiple times, they are either making excuses, or are just generally a flake.

90% of the time it means something came up

like work / school stuff / feeling sick

sometimes, but very rarely, I reschedule so that I can have some time to figure out if I really want to meet up / figure out how to say no thank you nicely

i'd say if she reschedules a second or third time, then give up on her

85% of the time, somethng came up school/family/work related

5% of the time she got her period and is wary of mood swings, because she doesn't want to screw it up/

No it just means she couldn't hang out today :p You're still hanging out tomorrow, so don't worry about it.

No, it definitely does not mean she doesn't like you. Something probably just came up, so she had to reschedule. Give her a chance. but if she reschedules one more time, then she probably changed her mind.

It could mean anything or nothing. Just chill until you hang out and see how it goes. Sometimes stuff comes up.
