what is the meaning, misuse, effect and a solution for overgrazing.. need help its very important. plz

Reduce the grazing pressure on the land, by increasing the supply of land available for grazing, and reducing the demand for it.

To increase supply: Improve the productivity of the land using irrigation, cover crops, desalinization, windbreaks (to reduce soil erosion), etc. Also, it's not necessarily something that can be "fixed", but climate change is certainly responsible for reducing the quality of the land in many areas, so that should be tackled to prevent the global situation worsening.

To reduce demand: Reduce the human population - many parts of the world are just over-populated, and there's really nothing you can do - there's simply no sustainable means of producing enough food for all the inhabitants (they can either overgraze the land, and suffer the consequences later, or they can use sustainable means and starve now). Reduce the proportional consumption of meat - production of food crops is far more efficient (the same area of land can support many more people if used to grow crops than if used to raise animals). This goes hand-in-hand with improving land - in many cases, people raise animals because they are able to survive in harsh conditions where crops would not grow.

The solution to overgrazing!? This is a hot topic and I will gladly inform you of ways to find an answer. First off, what is overgrazing caused by? Diseased cows. If the cows weren't diseased, they would be safely consumable for humans. A slaughtered cow cannot graze, therefore cannot overgraze. What causes these diseases? Trolls. They fling human feces into the fields and these cows consume the feces and the fungus grows inside their intestines, infecting the feces of the cow. The cycle continues and the disease grows.

I hope this answers your question, I've done a lot of research on overgrazing and find the subject fascinating.

As populations continue to grow the demand for meat will likewise increase. Population increase is exponential while food supply increase is geometric. This is often referred to as the "Malthusian catastrophe" as it is based on the ideas of Thomas Malthus. Obviously this is not a sustainable equation. Ultimately people will have to eat less meat because it will rise in price. If people would voluntarily eat less meat (not vegetarian, just decreasing intake) then less land would be appropriated for livestock.

It gets harder because of over population of humans, to be sure. But you should look up and read about "The Tragedy of the Commons" as I feel like its relevant.

If people don't own the grazing land they use, then they have less motivation to take care of it.

If people were limited in the land they could own, they would treat it even better.
