Why do men say one thing then do another?

If you like a girl you like her. If you don't..you don't. Why keep up constant communication if you don't want to make the relationship more than what it is? What's the point?

Because sometimes a guy just likes a girl as a friend. He likes her company, he likes talking to her or doing things with her, but he's not romantically interested. He just sees her as a friend. Even when there's some flirtation too. Because sometimes flirtation is just banter. It's just playing. It's just kidding around. Sometimes it's completely without thought or reason. Like reflex. But seriously some people just want to be friends.

Not all people are talking to other people just to have a romance or just to have sex. Sometimes It's as simple as just liking someone's company and being friends with her. That's the point. Just spending time with someone. If you really see such a thing as pointless, I would recommend telling him that, how you want him to pursue something, or go away, and follow up cutting off communication. That's my advice.

Ah. Hard to say for sure, but maybe he's just trying not to complicate things. Maybe he's taken. Maybe he's just not interested and doesn't know how to shoot you down the right way. Either way, I know it sucks. Perhaps you can use this "no contact" as a chance to move on.

Some guys just enjoy being friends with chics. It doesn't always mean we're inlove with y'all. Usually though its for the rebound when you break up with a boyfriend. And we become confusing only when y'all ain't straight forward.

since he doesn't want a relationship & seems to be happy with just a friendship you need to figure out what you want. If you're good with just being friends then that's great. if you want more than that, break off contact because he doesn't want a relationship with you.

Both genders do this. I've seen girls do it all the time. They keep constant contact, hang out all the time, and text all the time the same guy, just because they enjoy the attention.

Haha yes I know this. I have plenty of male friends. None who talk this much and flirt etc etc. I told him I liked him and he said he wasn't sure if he felt the same...but continued like normal. I just told him that I really like and care about him and want more. And he said he doesn't feel it and I'm awesome and he really cares about me but not the way I seek and he just ended all contact with me. Lol deleted me from facenook and everything. Said he was doing this for me lol and if I ever need.
