Maneaters and womanizers?

Not to be confused with yearning, promiscuous people with low self esteem ... maneaters/womanizers or the "players" of the world are not tragic figures. Most times, people who manipulate others are NOT wanting love more than anything. They want power and control more than they want real love. They enjoy playing games with people and a good partner won't get them to stop -- only a personal crisis or revelation will. Don't romanticize their bad behavior, it's not a beautiful coping mechanism, it's bullsh*t to treat people badly and intentionally make them feel insecure or shameful, which is what maneaters and womanizers often do.

Sure, there is probably a reason .. often stemming from childhood ... that leads them to act as they do. But the fact remains that there are plenty of people who had bad upbringings who aren't manipulative, narcissic, cruel and lacking in empathy.

Now that you mention it this is true in a lot of situations. I've known former players who settled down, and they ended up with women you'd consider maneaters. They understand the game and have a similar outlook which makes them compatible. The womanizer meets his match and the maneater meets her male equivalent. Once they are ready to settle down, they have more in common with someone klike that..as well as find someone they can respect. When womanizers end up with the inexperienced good girl, she tends to become victim to his games and he has little respect for her (even though he may care for her). With the maneater, he can't pull that sh*t on her and vice versa.

There are too many people out there they can get to play the game in their favor to consider someone else who plays hard too.

Most womanizers play until they want to settle and have kids, and at that point target an inexperienced good girl who treats them really well and seems like she'd be a good mother.

I haven't seen maneaters settle down much. though I assume it happens sometimes.

That's fine to think that. But it seems you're ignoring the big aspect of this in that they seek out quick pleasure. Being tied down to one person puts a damper on going out and having your fun.
