Why do kind hearted people get hurt the most?

Am not saying they are the only people that get hurt but most of the time they are the once that get hurt.

It's because they are willing to take a risk and try to reach out to someone. OFten this leads to rejection because the other person either misunderstands, or doesn't know how to respond to genuine affection because of their life experience.

Sad, but true.

They're the most sensitive. People who are less inclined to feel sympathy don't mind hurting others and are not sensitive themselves. Thus, they don't get hurt.

i think its because there kind and kind people get hurt very easily and some people can use that.

That's circular logic! :) I think in reality there are two kind of people acting kind. The first ones are kind and loving in a naive way (ignorance is bliss!) because they were loved and safe growing up. These people can get hurt because they don't always know how to recognize evil or deal with confrontation.

With experience and wisdom comes a more informed kind of kindness - you know some people will try to take advantage of you but you love them anyway, and they take what you let them take.
