Why does she always text me?

i like her a lot and she knows it. I asked her out a few times, but she rejects me. I don't even see her a lot cause she's younger than me. she might have even indirectly said that I'm too old for her she's 17 and I'm 20.

but we text ALL THE TIME like every day. sometimes our conversations get pretty deep. she's gets all cute with me all the time like randomly telling me jokes.

i don't get it. why does we text all the time and we flirt and stuff too. so why does she text me?

and she asked me a few times to protect her like when she has problems with a girl or if a guy is harassing her she asks me to handle it. but I never do lol. she does whatever I say, except hang out with me.

Guys get strung along when girls want attention. They keep you 'on a leash' so to speak. Stephanie061490 calls it "keeping your options open" I call it "whipped". Imagine stringing a girl along for fun, until you decide to date her. This is the same thing. She's looking to see what else is out there to finally 'settle' on you.

Never settle for a girl that 'settles' for you. There are more quality people out there.

Well do you want her to stop? If so just don't respond to her texts/calls . And of course she likes u, she's showing you just how much. She doesn't want to show that she don't like you when she does. So she's not doing nothing wrong. Recognize which direction to take with her and take it wether you let go, or decided the feeling is mutual. And go from there.

So stop being scarey then;-) j/k. Look clearly you fancy her...so try a different approach. Are you a very aggressive type? Do you 2 have casual convo,? if not , try that talk to her as you would a reagular girl, get her to open up, get her to talk about herself. Get to know her better, that is if you want to invest a little Tim, she's already responsive to you so it shouldn't be hard for u. Also a date in it self can be intimidating, so I wouldn't plan nothing big and fancy for a first date.
