Your basic qualifications for a future girlfriend?

I'd like to know what the basic qualifications are for your future girlfriend. So, what should she at least look like, how would she be on the inside ect.

It's not about you ideal girlfriend, but the bottom line of what you'd accept and expect.

If you don't have experience with girls then that's okay. But please put it in the answer too (because it does make a difference) :)

My qualifications is very basic. What makes a girlfriend to me is how we click and the chemistry between us. However, she has to be at least mediocre looking, not ugly. Then, basically stuff that no one wants. I don't want a girl that lies to me, cheats on me, plays me or plays a bunch of head games, who is constantly selfish or refuses to listen to me or my side of things. What I do want is someone who is caring, compassionate, honest, respectful, nice/sweet, willing to make at least a small bit of effort, as well as a girl that I know that is there for me and will support me. I do tend to like slightly thicker than average girls, but not fat or obese. Perhaps I'm in the minority. I don't find super skinny girls attractive because they look unhealthy. Also, I tend to like older women, not crazy old, but I'm in my early 20's and I tend to like women more who are in their mid-late 20's. Again, might be in the minority on that. But, if a girl I really ended up liking weren't any of those, it wouldn't disqualify them. I don't really have many perquisites for anybody. I'm open to getting to know people and if there ends up being chemistry, then consider themselves qualified. They just have to be mediocre looking and treat me good and theyre qualified.

The first priority for me is that she shares the same faith and beliefs as I do, namely, that she is a Christian. After that, everything is negotiable.

The main traits I look for after that would be generally being friendly and sweet. I also need someone who is a reasonably good communicator; when I'm in a relationship with her, I don't want to feel like I'm pulling teeth to find out what's on her mind.

For the record, I have never had a girlfriend, so this is all theoretical.

My basic qualifications for a girlfriend: feminine personality (kind, caring, a little shy); likes wearing make-up but not too much; not overweight or underweight; not deformed or disabled; nice teeth; no large tattoos; intelligent (must be able to hold a conversation, likes writing in full sentences, fairly extensive vocabulary, curious about philosophy and/or politics); no STDs; no history of cheating in relationships; age 16-30 (I'm 21; 16+ is legal in my area); no boyish hair-style (ideally, hair should be a third to half way down the back); no facial piercings; doesn't swear too much; not butch (not that butchness is common in straight women!); has a positive attitude about men (not a paranoid/hateful/bitter feminist type); has self-respect and a sense of purpose; clean and hygienic; smells good or at least neutral; enjoys sex and all the usual positions; wants to have sex ideally at least once every two days; genuinely lusts after me AND loves me.

She can't ugly, like not in the bottom 10% of women her age.

She can't be mentally deranged, socially retarded or a psychopath.

Somewhat close to me in age, say 18-23, this is a bit more flexible though as it depends on the individuals appearance and maturity.

What does ugly mean to you? Every guy has a different taste. Or do you mean a lack of basic hygiene and a certain amount of sloppiness by the 'bottom 10%' ?

Lack basic hygiene or putting absolutely no effort into her appearance would put her there. Other than that it would likely have to be either a major facial deformity (like she had been in an accident or had some kind of disorder that effects her appearance) or a combination of several minor ones (say a big nose, bad acne, yellow teeth and glasses).

While different people might have slightly different tastes, attraction is mostly objective.

-Faithful. Obviously no cheating, and she has to be the type of girl that is willing to stick it out through thick and thin. It seems like most people run when things get tough nowadays.

She should be decent or cute, nice to everyone, get along with my family and friends, watch sports with me like Football on Saturdays and Sundays haha, intelligent, shorter than 5'8, great with kids, have a gorgeous smile, smell nice, should be ethnically Indian/Pakistani, Middle Eastern, or Hispanic, she shouldn't be overweight or obese considering I try to stay and eat healthy as much as I can, probably not over 5 or 6 years younger.

Feminine, sweet, loyal, fun. Not one of those bitchy girls that compete and gossip all the time. Sexually compatible. Pretty face. She can be skinny, or she can be curvy, but fat is a no-no. At least 5'7'' because I'm tall. Long hair is a must.
