Are guys usually rude towards their crush?

So I like this guy and I'm very confused about his behavior towards me because sometimes he's flirting with me and then like 5 min later he's rude to me. He stares at me most of the time and he jokes around with me as well but his behavior is really odd. Can someone please help me?

This is acceptable behavior for a BOY not a man. If you're an adult and still think the way to get a girl is to be mean to her, you've got deeper issues. Don't accept that kind of behavior from a man. It may "seem" cute - but imagine that "rudeness" being anger - real anger and general meanness to you down the road. That's not a relationship you want to be in. It's only going to get worse - not better.

I sure as hell wouldn't be rude to someone I like. I'd be the complete opposite. Either shy or very genuine and soft towards her. Mature men would never be rude to a girl. That's just some juvenile stuff.

second guys who have no experience tend to act as jerks. just go way back and remember that boy in school who pulled your hair to get your attention cause he likes you.

I acted rude unintentionally to girls iv'e liked because I really liked them, and I had no idea how to act around them/ unsure if they like me. And my faith in women is not so great, so iv'e been told I distance myself.

Yeah, if there's a girl I like that I know really well. I well joke around with them and and playfully make fun of them. Just to make them laugh and keep it light. It's a good way flirt and start talking with them.
