Polls: Girl's Behavior

I don't really like pants most of the time as I live in a hot climate, but when the weather gets cold enough I don't mind wearing pants.

One of my friends though literally NEVER wears pants. She's always in short shorts, or some type of short skirt or dress. Always bare legs basically. The other day I was like, "It's really, really cold today... ya sure you don't wanna put on some pants?" And she flinched and got visually startled, almost jumping back, at the mere suggestion of pants... wow.

I asked her why, and at first she said she'd rather not talk about it, but later on she said that though she barely gets cold on her legs, her mom used to punish her as a kid by making her wear jeans at the beach when she was bad. And since she was so used to being in a bathing suit at the beach, this was incredibly suffocating for her, almost like a prison of some sort. So she basically associates pants with that trauma.

But I'm wondering how common it is for girls to hate pants like this... not for the EXACT same reason as her, obviously, as that's an odd case... but in general, is it common or relatively common for a girl to DESPISE pants like this?

As a girl most of my friends are female, but I feel this'd be an odd topic to bring up, so I'm asking here.

At this point, I don't want to say more than a hi to someone, even my "hi" is embarrassing. Even though I'm not a people person, I'm always excited to meet people but unfortunately I get too excited and ruin things with my shyness & awkwardness and of course go through a mental stress for a simple mistake.

I also feel very foolish, I get easily confused when talking to someone and it takes me some time to understand them. Now I understand why since when I was little I never got along with people.

I'm honestly tired of this repetitive cycle so I think staying away from people and cutting off any type of conversation will do me just good. What do you think?

Fake nice guy buys you chocolate and compliments you but is full of crap and has selfish motives.

Fake bad boy is a guy who was never outgoing or bold but is putting on an act to look cool/sexy to get the girl.

Its really hard at times at least for me for several reasons i guess. But when i am able to ignore them and not engage with any convos with them beyond whats work relatd, i think maybe i can escape the abuse

I am a feminist activist and I don't want to be a stupid woman that stay with a guy that treated me like piece of shit, disrespect me, don't give me any attention, or even abusive. But I don't get it why a woman stay with a guy that clearly hurt you and keep him cause I think it's so stupid no matter how much you love him. Being a strong woman doesn't mean you have to stay with a guy that treated you like shit. Leave him then you can called yourself a strong woman. Because a woman leaves a man for herself. Or with a guy that take advantage of me, clearly won't ever like me, just want have sex or treated me like I'm his fans just because I told him that I like him first. And I think there's still a lot of women out there that don't find themselves worth it.


Here's the truth guys, being pretty, honest, treating a man good, caring about a man, making an effort for a man is not gonna keep him. You could have the best intentions, the most sincere feelings, you could be a good woman, still not gonna keep a man. Because the only way to keep a man, if that man wants to be kept by you. They don't care how hard you try, you cannot force a man to be with you, you can't beg him, you can't love him enough to make him love you back. A man only fights for what he wants, don't hold onto a man who doesn't wanna held by you. It doesn't mean you gave up, it really means that he gave up on you. And it's YOU who should not waste anymore of your time, know when it's time to let go, know when to walk away and know when it's time for him to be unkept.


Girls, if there's one of you that still not become a strong woman, are you will be a strong woman after read my opinion and advice?

I found out that another girl who was a friend of my boyfriend had plucked his eyebrows a few days ago. He said he did not want it but she wanted to do it and was very insistent. I was a little angry because I didn't want another girl to touch his eyebrows and touch his face at all. If anyone is going to do such a thing to him, it must be me. How would you react?
