This isn't a troll question. If you walk around some of the big US cities you will definitely see people dress like this in the summer. And so far, in the poll, about half of the ladies support their daughters dressing like that before they even go off to college. And 25% even before they're teenagers.

I'm all about letting women wear what they please. But this is far to suggestive for any girl to be wearing before she is 18. Like this outfit in the picture suggests sex is on the mind. And why would a minor be wearing an outfit that has the goal of attracting sexual attention before she is even old enough to consent to sex?

I come from Newcastle in the UK, a place renowned in the UK for girls wearing short skirts.

however even the above would not be worn, in fact they could actually be stopped by police.

@Jammaa Europe and the UK are far more open than the US with clothing, and I have very very rarely seen anything that short.

I come from a city where short skirts are normal even in winter and they do not wear that short even in the summer.

And my question was asking about being supportive of their daughters and so far, it looks like most of the women would be. I can see why many people wouldn't be in support of it though. It's a lot of exposed skin. You see that much skin at pools and beaches, but not so much anywhere else. I would not allow a daughter to wear clothing that shows that much skin, unless she was going to the beach or pool. I realize that the picture shown was a girl in a mini-dress, not a swimsuit. Since mini-dresses are not usually worn at beaches or at pools (although I have seen some at beaches), I would not allow my daughter to wear the dress in public (assuming she was under 18, and living in my household).
