I think you are justified being concerned at young girls being prematurely sexualized. Other than banning I am don't what you can do to counter it.

I'd be mostly concerned with the prospect of early sexual activity whilst still very much a child.

Is her father in her life? Without an involved father, I have seen it claimed that young girls have more "male hunger". Stats do indicate there is earlier loss of virginity when the father is absent. Getting more father involvement might be the go if it is a divorced relationship.

I told my girl that she could wear whatever she wanted as long as she didn't get sent home from school. Then I gave her a clothing allowance.
