Oh my gosh..THAT'S why one of my friends wears a hair tie around his wrist. EVERYTHING MAKES SENSE!!

I've honestly never heard of it before, I just thought my friend was being weird or his girlfriend left her hair tie somewhere and he was keeping it for her. OMG. Mystery solved.
