We talked. Then he pretends like nothing happened between us. What's wrong with this guy?

This guy happened to be my classmate. I had a crush and started liking him secretly. He used to share his stories with me. We did physically wrestled each other. Everyone would say that we seem compatible with each other and the both of us would deny the fact. Then one day, he went silent. As if i did not exist. He does look at me but he walks away. Like nothing happened between the both of us. His action/behaviour got me dismayed. I don't know what wrong did i do. I have no clue why he's acting that way. Seems like just yesterday we seemed so close but for now, not anymore.

Chances are he did something or said something and expected a reaction from you, which you didn't provide. Perhaps because you didn't see what he did, or didn't hear it, or didn't understand.

Mind you, I've seen cases where the girl definitely did hear him say something (Like ask her out) and she just freaked out and pretended it never happened. Then wondered why he got upset with her after the fact.

All i could remember the last time i did was to try to coax him but he didn't seem to appreciate my effort. Probably, he doesn't even see it at all.
