Is bad skin a turn off?

I don't have the greatest skin after years of dealing with breakouts. I am very very self conscious about it and it makes me very shy in wanting to put myself out there with the opposite sex.

my friends tell me it doesn't really matter but I figure since they're my friends my personality has illuminated my good features and banished the bad so therefore they can't see me as critically as a guy would upon first meeting me.

so.. my question is... does it really matter? would you turn a girl down based on her skin?

I don't have perfect skin, I don't think anyone actually has perfect skin. It's a myth. Personality is all that matters, and if a guy is too shallow to see that, then they aren't worth it. My boyfriend doesn't have perfect skin, but I don't care, it doesn't bother me because I love him for him, not for looks. I love him, I don't lust him.

No, guys look more in a girl's personality rather than obsessing over how her skin looks. If you have a great personality, any guy will look over any skin flaws that you might have.
