Why does he call me a brat if he likes me?

I know he likes me, and I like him. But it bothers me when he calls me a brat. He doesn't just call me that. He's sweet most of the time and calls me things like honey, babe, sweetheart, ect. But every now and then he calls me a brat.

Why does he do that? Did I make him mad or something?

Without context, he may just be using it as a term of endearment. Just use your judgement. Do you think he's being mean when he does it, or cute? You could always say 'Please don't call me that, ok?'

It's not like he's calling you an idiot, or ugly. I can see the word being used in a 'cute' manner, just me...
