Do guys cuddle with girls they're not interested in?

I watched a movie with my friend the other day and it was the first time we hung out alone. It was night and the lights were off and we watched it on his bed. He put his arm around me and so I ended up resting my head on his shoulder and he rested his head against mine. Sometimes he sort of rubbed my elbow with his fingers and eventually he was kind of holding me against him. My hand was on my stomach and he moved his on his stomach all the way to the side where I was and at one point our hands touched but i moved mine away. If he wasn't attracted to me or had any interest in me would he still have done this? Also it looked like he was hard most of the time, and i guess it could have just been his pants, but every time he got up and moved then layed back down it was always there again.

Well I've cuddled with girls im not interested in but only if im comfertable around them. For example my friend is lesbian and I've put my arm around her and she rested her head on me, etc. there's no harm in it but I've never gone past the arm around a girl move. If he did anything more than just put his arm around you (which by the way you described It I think he did hahahaha) its a possibility he could like you.

How he slowly and romanticly did it, there is two ways.

1) He wants you : What I mean is he wants you for your body. Some guys are like that, get real close, have sex, and bada bing bada boom are gone. IF you know him well enough not to do that then it's 2.

2) He needs you : He likes you and wants to have a relationship. Text him, call him, talk to him, do something, and see what happens next.

From how you described it, it sounds like he likes you. I may cuddle with someone Im not interested in if we are just chilling and she initiates it. But I would not initiate it if I wasn't interested in her. And if he was hard then he is definitely interested.

He did have a really small bed though, so it could have just been to be comfortable? And we've texted every day for the past week but there's like maybe three texts a day and the conversation just continues, do you think he could just be being nice to me?

To be honest its always a possibility that he is just being nice. But it sounds like he likes you. Have you 2 talked about hanging out again. That way you can get a better feeling about if he is liking you or not.
