First off, not all guys are man whores. Secondly, I was cheated on, (and in one of the most immasculating ways I can think of) so I know of some women who could be "players" too.
Whether you're a man or woman, past a certain number of successful dates with one person, you should either decide to stick with them, see what happens, or break it off. Make a decision, people!
However, if you're not exclusively dating, then why not try to date different types of people? As long as everybody is honest with each other, and as long as there's no cheating in an exclusive relationship, and when it's first starting out, then why not? Why shut yourself off from any other possibility between the first and second date? If the guy is trying to hit on women DURING your first or second date, that's creepy, but otherwise I see no problems with getting to know members of the opposite sex (even if there's a crush on that person)...
Why do some people have several crushes at one time? Because when you lose interest in one, or that one rejects you, then you probably won't get as hurt as you would have had you had your heart set on that person. You can feel like you're moving on quicker. "Well, at least I can ask out this girl soon."
I'm done pining for a girl or having a crush on only one girl at a time when I haven't dated them. I won't force it, but if I happen to have three crushes on three different women, and I'm not dating anyone yet, then so be it. I'm going to try to have a second option.

wtf so let me get this straight women is allow to sleep around and us men suppose to do nothing and allow you get away with it this is why we resort to this because women like you friend zone us saying "oh we too easy too nice" then you date a jerk who is a man whore saying you love him then boom you cry to the good guy you left saying" there is no nice guy out there I wish there is a nice guy like you out there" then when he speaks up you told him"i don't like you like that" and yet you go after man whore and this time you get pregnant by him then you tell him crawling back saying"oh I'm sorry please take me back" and give birth another guy's child because you too stupid to keep your legs shut. I have actually asked this question to my boyfriend. We have 2 kids together and have been seeing eachother for quite sometime now. He used to be quite the man whore. The simple truth of it is: He did it because he could. He was never really attractive until he got to be around the age 18 then everything started falling into place for him, girls started noticing him. He liked the attention because he never got it before. So not wanting that to end he got as many women as he possibly could because he liked it. He on the other hand wasn't looking for a committment, he didn't want to be serious with anyone, he just wanted to get laid because all the sudden he had attention. I am not saying that this is true for all guys but, for most guys that don't want the committment it is a way of getting what they want. If they have more than one women it's because they want to see how long they can carry on with it before one finds out. A friend of mine used to have contests with his buddies to see who could have the most women at the same time before they found out about eachother. It is a rush for them to know that at any moment they could get caught and let's face it guys like the addrenaline rush and the attention. They are getting validation from more than one person at a time to feed the confidence that they lack and yes it is very selfish. Then again some guys are just dicks.

Some guys do it to be players and some do it unintentionally. Those who do it unintentionally can't man up and break off one relationship, so they proceed to get others. Sometimes a guy can have one girlfriend and develop feelings for someone else and they don't want to hurt their girlfriends. And sometimes they may have feelings for both girls.

You wanna know? In my case, I never saw it coming--then bam! I was messing around with four girls at a time. I'm a nice guy, but something made me snap. It all starts with something in your past.I missed out on someone who meant the world to me, now I dunno. I try to fill the gap with other girls, girls who enjoy my company, who need me to give them something. Before I knew it, I actually enjoyed seeing them being satisfied by me--that look.its addicting. But it'll catch up with you in the end. I can't have one single normal relationship with a girl. Now, I'm a lonely bastard without anyone ot truly love. Don't pity us, we do it to ourselves, we always have the choice.Now that I have made mine, I'm trying to figure out how to stop it--it's not as easy as you may think. Well it usually happens when us guys get high or drunk and rely on our dicks to think for us and when you do that, you no longer are aware of your current situation, so basically when ure in that situation you end up being able to think of nothing else other than sex. And when the next morning comes and she thinks were together, were too p**** to say no and don't want to face the embarrasement of admiting that we are complete and utter womanizing losers.
And yes I know this first hand.
But eventually if the guy isn't a complete retard he will learn his lesson, and if his brain is above that of a primate he will eventually fall into complete remorse and once he's done with his depression and guilt he will eventually find the girl or get back with his previous girlfriend and find he is extremely afraid to even remotely get into the situation of cheating with another girl.
So for all you lady's out there please don't lose faith in us yet -

I've said this before; if you are upfront with the girl, and she knows you are dating others, and is fine with it, then that's OK. Its when you become a player and date many women at once, with all of them thinking they are the only one you date, then that's when its wrong.
I personally don't like to date more than one woman at a time under any circumstances. I prefer to keep things simple; love and relationships are hard enough one at a time. -
Well I do it because I'm more likely to find the girl I like.
Usually my friends date one girl at a time just to find out they don't like them and move on to the next one. I found this to be terribly slow and inefficient. So I date multiple girls at the same time to increase my chances of finding the one I really connect with.
The irony is I finally found the girl I really like but she thinks I am too much of a manwhore to be only loyal to her. Plus I dated one of the girl's bestfriends so I really screwed myself over -
I have a friend who is a man whore and he told me straight out that it was insecurity and the fact that he hates to be alone. He wasn't trying to hurt anyone. He was just scared. He hated sleeping alone and some of his self worth was put into how many women he slept with.

They feel that they can do that. I have heard guys say, "In other countries they have more than one wife. Why can't I do it? It is in a man's nature to have more than one woman". We all know this is not right and it was never meant to be that way. It is pure selfishness to want to run around with more than one woman.

Guys like sex. What guys like more than that is a lot of sex. A lot of them live in the moment and aren't really concerned about girls' feelings so that's why they do it.

Well I think they shouldn't be man whores because I personally know a women who died from aids. After her boyfriend cheated on her with another women who had aids. You can guess that he went back home to her and slept with her and gave her aids too which she died from.
