Help, if a guy feels comfortable to fart in front of you does that mean he's not interested?

Lol! I love this question, I am laughing so hard! The bottom line is - guys fart and not only do they think it's hilarious, they are also strangely proud of it for some reason. My ex and his friends used to have farting contests in college. I know, I don't get it either. But if you hardly know him and he farts but exuses himself, that's different, then it's an accident. If he let's a big one rip, like "BLAARRRTT!" and thinks nothing of it or starts laughing like an idiot, then I would take it as a sign of disrespect. Not so much that he's not interested, I would just think he lacked manners.

It's a sign of comfort. In the beginning of a relationship you are both trying hard to be as attractive as possible and this means no bodily functions. As you relax and get to know each other a bit more, the guards go down. You both need to be comfortable with each other and you shouldn't be constantly wary of your actions.

If you've been together a while, I'd take it as a good sign personally :)

Comfortable around you - yes. And that is a good thing. Of course it is. If you were uncomfortable it would be total silence.
Has he ever shown you any signs? Being that close for so long as friends... my personal thought is no, he just sees you as a friend. But, other than farting, has he ever displayed signs of affection towards you?

I wouldn't fart around the girl I liked and I would hope she wouldn't do the same in front of me its a real turn off. And if he's that comfortable around you that he'll fart in front of you then I would say he only thinks of you in a strictly friend way
