When a guy friend feels comfortable talking about sex and sexual innuendos around you, does he like you?

Do men want you for more than a friend when they act like this or is this normal for most guys?

One of my guy friends always steers the conversation this way. The other one does too but not as frequently. I am intelligent and am quite capable of maintaining an enlightening conversation with regards to many subjects.

Conversation generally focuses around me. (not my choice) FYI we are platonic.

I had a friend, sounds like yours, who was really comfortable talking about sexual stuff with around me.

He'd make perverted jokes or whatever, and I'd laugh, and sometimes, when he'd ask, I'd tell him about stuff I've done with other guys. He always seemed so interested, because he's a virgin (and a total perv).

Anyways. He nearly raped me. He ended up having major boundary issues, started groping me on some occasions and it really escalated out of control. I don't know if you could say that he liked me or not, 'cause even though we were good friends, he had a girlfriend, and he never tried to kiss me.

So just. . . be careful. Not saying that your friends have bad intentions, but I mean, you can never really know, apparently.

Whether they come out and admit it or not, most guys want you for more than friendship, because..well...you're a woman, and they're men. This is not to say they have an interest in any form of romance, they just can't help but think about the possibility of sex. Not all men give in to this, but almost all are tempted. We're just built that way. This is the bane of all attempted platonic friendships between men and women. If you doubt this, just read the huge volume of posts on this site related to this very subject for several months, and your doubts will be laid to rest.
