Guy leaning into me?

Guys do you ever sit really close to and lean on/lean into girls - and why? My female friends do this to me sometimes and say I'm comfortable to lean on haha but guys don't except this one friend. He squashes himself against me or leans into me or uses my legs (shins) as a pillow or similar and will adjust his shoulder or whatever so I can sit closer to him as well. Once I wasn't thinking and put my chin on his shoulder to watch something and he actually (I think) adjusted to let me be closer.
What would be your reasons for doing this? Would you necessarily like the girl?

If I like a girl I'd like to be as close to her as possible. One thing that you're looking for when you like a girl is to make physical contact. Even a chin in my shoulder would make my day.
So yeah, he'll probably likes you, I would only do that with a girl that I like, or if she was a very very good friend, my best friend.

I read both of the questions and my answer is still the same as before: He likes you. He likes to have you close to him because he WANTS to be close to you. He feels comfortable with you, and he tries to do stuff that makes both of you be close to each other.
It's clear you both like each other, you should make a move. Maybe next time you put your chin on his shoulder (if it happens again), at the end give him a kiss on the cheek; that would definitely blow his mind.

Thank you - one of the things that stops me is feeling unconfident despite what people on here and my heart and mind tell me. Chalk it up to bad experiences in the past (or lack thereof I guess).
Anyway. Hahaha I imagine it would. One time we were at the movie theater and he put literally his entire face against mine when he was talking to me - he was trying to whisper but he unnecessarily stuck his cheek against mine, I was like uhh - thinking "if I turn at all..."
so I think he's been thinking about it as well. I don't know. but in any case thanks for the help :)

Oh, so you're like me. Even though people tell you one think, your mind and body tells you one thing, you still have no confidence in this type of stuff. I blame it on the impossibility that I have to trust people, mainly because of past experiences.

I do similar things to let girls know I like them. It's kind of how if a girl is constantly touching a guy they most likely like him.

Well the chin part is a HUGE indication to us if we like you, plus you guys are together quite a lot.

The chin thing happened after he'd been doing this a while and you think so? i didn't even realize I was doing it - just leaned closer and found that my chin was on his shoulder/kind of leaning into his neck and I thought "awkward what if he doesn't want me to do this" (because it did seem to me it would give away that I liked him) and then he adjusted so I could move closer and I was like oh jk. And yeah we are together quite a bit and almost every time he ends up next to me or somehow touching me - it's weird, he's like tentative and tries *not* to touch me but once we touch it's like we're glued together.
