When a guy talks on the phone with you for nearly 3 hours?

He phoned me just before 11 PM; we hung up before 2 AM. I was alone in my college dorm, tired and physically sick, so I told him I wanted to go home. He played me songs on his laptop to make me feel better. I accidentally hung up twice, but he called back both times.

He can also talk on the phone with guy friends until 1-2 AM. Does he just regard me as a good friend?

Yes, he regard you as a good friend and like spending time with you.
He looks caring and supportive type too which is really nice.
But only a good friend or not is based upon what you talk about.
Does he only talks logic or he there are some emotional touch also in it.
When people try to become more than friends they try to talk more personal things and things related to life.
But not all boys will open up so quickly so even if he has not open up yet you can wait for some more time and see how things go along. Overall there is high positivism in his approach which directly translates to he being more attractive towards you.

I think 3 hour conversations are not something guys do with their girl friends. So he's definitely interested.

Extremely jealous you found a guy who can talk for hours on end lol. He either likes you or sees you as a friend. However, I'm gonna assume he likes you because he called back twice and I just have a feeling no guy would do that to a girl unless they have been friends for ages

He's shy at first but opens up when people take the initiative to talk to him... I think he likes talking to me though, because he phones me often and we talk for at least an hour most of the time.
