I don't mean to offend you, so sorry in advance if I do, but your friend is very narrow-minded when it comes to men. Not all men are perverts, and not all men masturbate. Yes, most men do, and some men are perverts, but the same goes for females as well. I'm not going to lie and say I don't, because I do. Women enjoy physical pleasure just like men, and some even masturbate more than men, and vice versa.

When it comes to sex... Well, that's a different story. A lot of men are in it for the sex, and I am ashamed to say that many will dump you on the spot if you don't give it to them. Many, not every man. Just as many are in it for the bond that comes from physical contact. And again, this goes for women as well. Sex is important in a relationship, but it is not required for the relationship to survive. If anything, it's just a plus.

So, what you have here is a double-edged sword. Make sure you get your information straight before rushing headlong into a relationship. Things can be disastrous otherwise. Do not always believe the information your best friends give you. Many of them have never even been in a long term relationship at your age, and are just spreading misinformation.

Personally, I have never heard of or knowingly met a guy who doesn't masturbate regularly. And her friend is spot on if you acknowledge the fact that she was using colorful language. Checking out girls is not a perv action. Even girls do the same. I can't understand why some girls would think that men checking out pretty girl is some kindof abnormal thing to do. My gfs also have that kind of thinkinf but I was like what's wrong.. who doesn't like eye candies? 99% Of men are highly sensual/ physical. Our sexual desires consume us. We can feed it or die. Die physically from not reproducing or die inside every time we deny our desires.

I don't think most guys are pervy, which describes an obsession with being too much into lowlife activities.
However, guys do enjoy seeing girls, and thinking about how pretty they are, and how much trouble the girl went to, to look pretty for us. We like their fashions, so we look.
As far as the M thing, just about everybody, girls included, do it.(check out some of the questions on GAG)
Most guys are respectful of girls, and won't dump them if they don't put out.
Yes there are some jerky guys, but don't dismiss us all on account of a few.

No, not all men are pervy... A lot of men and women do find the opposite sex attractive and will check each other out, but that's not being pervy. Pervy would be to check someone out by staring at them for longer than a few seconds. I'm sure almost all (not all, but almost) guys do "the M word"... but so do a lot of women. I don't know your age, and it's normal for girls that are really young (13-15) not too, but a lot of females that are grown adults that aren't in a relationship also do the "M" word. This doesn't make them perverted. This is normal human behavior. For both men and women. Perversion is when someone does something that deviates from what is considered normal. The "M" word is normal, therefore, it's not perverted.
