I've never been married or been in a long-term relationship. But I was talking to my friend that's married and she said guys are babied by their mothers and when they get into a relationship/ marriage they expect their s/o to be exactly like their mother and baby them. She said that they don't try to help/lessen the stress/expect you to do everything. She was talking about how her husband doesn't know anything about her and everything she told him he didn't try to keep in his memory. She also said it's nothing like what they show on tv.
I've only had one relationship but I made him homemade food often and I enjoyed it. I liked showing my affection in those ways. But the way she talks about it, it makes me dread marriage like it's this awful thing. Is what she says true?
