I have recently met this guy. We text casually throughout the day, tell some jokes, talk about random things. There are no pet names shared until one of us is ready for bed to which he tells me "Good night hun, sleep well and sweet dreams." Or "Night hun." It's always somewhere along those lines. I have never thought anything of it until a friend of mine thought it interesting. We are also the same age, so he is not older than me. I'm just curious as to if I should think nothing of it like I did before, or if my friend is correct in thinking he is somewhat fond of me? Thanks!

If its only because ur friend thought it interesting, then don't conclude anything. Just saying it once before going to bed is not a big deal, maybe its his habit/style. Don't read too much into words. Look at how he makes you feel and what he does when you are together.
