My crush will once in a while text me and ask how my day is going? Do all guys do that?

1. I went to school with this guy last year and I ended up seeing him out the one night in August.
2. we were with eachother the whole night and he would text me and ask where I was and stuff.. He also bought me a shot
3. The day after that night he sent me a text and asked if I got home okay.
4 . He likes some of my Facebook statuses and a couple Instagram photos
5. We have been texting eachother ever since but still haven't hungout yet.
6. The day I asked him he said he was busy and then I asked him again and he said that he could
7. When we text he'll always ask how my day is going! Like not every single day he'll ask but he will occasionally

I don't do it. Usually because I'm busy, and I assume girls are too. I never have the time to text and just chat. When I do text it's usually to ask her out, and I'll ask how her day has been at the same time.
