Why do Asian women and some men stare at me hard? My friend apparently pointed this out, I never noticed.. Is it true? (asians answer too please)?

First, my friend actually called this to my attention (i honestly suck at paying attention lol) we grocery shop in an area with a lot of Asian and white people. I didn't know this but Asians apparently based off of anime and their not really an obsession but favoring of cuteness like innocence and a small voice. I'm 14 and I'm 5'7 quite thin and I am African american/multiracial with big eyes, smaller nose, and cute lips. I also have an abnormally high voice I don't know how it got that way no one in my family has a voice that high its weird.. Anyway when i talk i sound sort of like a little girl i hate it.. And when I ask someone one of the employees for help when i can't find something, all the Asian people just look like with their eyes open like WTF? if i excuse myself to get somewher and they're in the way they look perplexed lol. Like they've almost seen an alien.. or at least its what my friend has told me.. I swear I don't know what she thinks in her brain.. When im jsut walking down the street the girls look like I've done something offensive. I catch Asian girls staring at me randomly, and guys too. Like I said my friend actually pointed this out (she can be a bit over the top sometimes) so maybe its just her. I've noticed it slightly but i think its all in her mind i am not totally sure. She keeps saying it over and over its quite annoying.. She also obsesses with Asian culture and thats fine but she is like "oh you have the perfect Asian look for a black person and your voice is adorable i wish i had it!" She is white and she is like "Even though im white and they like whiter skin I dont have your cuteness" it makes me a little uncomfortable when she says it so im like.. right.. okay.. thanks lol... Anywho.. can someone explain this to me because its so random and i only go shopping with her because we dont have a car at the moment and she helps with the bags. Thanks

Well there are pretty much no black people at all in most Asian countries, and if there aren't many where you live, then maybe they're just not used to seeing black people. When I went to the Philippines I was the only person with blonde hair on the entire island, so I could walk across the village and end up with about fifty girls following me. If you look different, people are going to stare. And Asians aren't taught to try and avoid offending black people like white people are. White people intentionally avoid staring at black people because we don't want to make them uncomfortable or feel offended. Asians aren't taught that, just like they aren't taught certain words are cusswords, so a lot of them who are new here will say things like shit and ass in front of preachers and old white people who get easily offended by such words.

LOL run off with their potatoes, i hate potatoes by the way but yeah I don't know what caused that reaction. Im in America never left the country and there are black people in the stores all the time not ghetto and loud very polite i just think its odd they stare at me it makes me feel very self conscious, i wish my frien wouldve never pointed this out now im paranoid..
