Why do some guys like ugly girls?

before you start saying its because of there personality i mean they're ugly look wise AND they have an ugly personality lol. for example there are girls in my school the 'popular' ones a lot of them are athletic but i mean they kind of look like guys. and honestly a lot of them just aren't that pretty and they majority of them are mean, at least to other girls but im assuming they aren't to the guys. but why do they go after them when there's plenty of pretty girls who are actually nice and aren't snobby. another example is this girl danielle, who is so gorgeous she actually used to be a model when she was little for macys and other big name brands. but at school she is friends with play 'geeks' and that is the only thing keeping guys away from her but she is the most down to earth girl you will ever meet. just wondering why would a guy choose those girls over her?

How do you know if these girls are actually ugly to guys? There's a lot of athletic girls who can look manly but look sexy as hell to a lot of guys and you can't really tell how they act towards guys that like them because you're not one of them so who really knows maybe they're really flirty and seem easy to get so guys chase them because of that. And normally a popular girl isn't ugly just you might be jealous and assume they are.

I would assume they're chasing those girls because they're giving the guys loads of sexual attention which is something a lot of young teenagers crave for more than a down to earth girl.

funny stuff: once I was told about a girl before I met her, how awful looking she was and this particular trait that she had (large space in between her legs), and then I got to see her for myself, and had a boner for the rest of the day, couldn't think about anything else...

I have no clue. I've asked this question myself several times. I've even thought that it can be due to insecurity? Perhaps thinking that if he or she is attractive and the partner is not they will never cheat. I have no idea.

when i was in school i was good at every thing sports, studies, teachers loved me and so does all the mates

and honestly i never picked up sides i use to study with geeks and was a good friend them at the same time i was a good friend to a lot other popular guys who were into sports etc but we all were friends like the whole class
