Why would a guy call you 'Amazing'?

My guy friend calls me 'amazing' often. As whenever we talk on a certain topic and I express my thoughts which are different than others or simply do something different, he says, "You're amazing!" Is this just in a friendly way or could it mean something more?

It depends on the context he uses it in. If its something he doesn't agree with he's probably being sarcastic. If its something legit amazing (like being good at dance or gymnastics or an instrument etc.) he's being friendly. If he says it about shit that doesn't really matter... maby but probably not. For a guy to say your amazing and it mean something more he's saying he loves you A LOT. So unless he's made that clear already or you guys are in a relationship, he probably didn't mean it like that.

Well if you like him go for it but you can't hang whether he likes you on a single word. Focus more on how he acts when he's around you.

I don't know it's confusing... :/ I don't want to take a step without being a bit sure. He flirts with me, and he teases me and he said that he likes talking to me. But I don't know anything else, really.

There is nothing 100% in this life. I realize that this might be getting a bit more philosophical then you intended. I've realized some things in the past few months, that if I knew then, what I know now, I would have asked the gal out even without knowing the response. As a result, who knows when I'll see her again and if she still single.

I only call women amazing when:

I want to sleep with them
Have slept with them and the sex was great
