It could either mean one of two things: you guys have a lot in common and that he's had moment of socially retardation or he's just into himself and finds anything out there that remotely relates to him. The reality is that you might share common interests, but you and I know that no two people are alike; hence your hesitation. I would let that comment pass but if he was to raise anymore socially awkward comments or shows any signs of being self-centered then I would address it with him directly before moving on to better things.

That's kinda me and my bf only it was my friends that said it. They were like "that's you in male form" so now we joke about it and think it's funny. Though really looking at it our personalities are really similar, we both act goofy, and without knowing it gave our friends the same "look" when they were asking a question during a movie. totally freaks them out xD

That's not necessarily a bad thing! Opposite attract, but i've also heard that guys are also interested in girls that they see a lot of themselves in, and personally, i've had crushes on guys that I saw a lot of myself in too and vice-versa, so trust me it's not a bad thing!

My friend just told me that the guy I have a crush on and I have the same personality and she sees me and him would get along great because of it so I guess you have a lot in common which is good in my opinion that way you too can understand each other.
