Does it mean anything if a guy you just met remembers something about you?

I hung out with an old friend of mine today from college and some of his friends were there as well. I was talking with one of his guy friends and I remember telling him I wanted cake so bad, and he was like “well let’s find a place along the way to get you cake”. I didn’t really pay mind to it since I was just enjoying strolling around the city with the group so it wasn’t necessary for me to have cake lol. Hours later everyone is on their way home and he mentions “hey you never got your cake” and I was like “it’s ok I can get some cake on my way back home”. I just didn’t think he’d care, you know but I thought that was so sweet. Does that mean anything or does he just have a good memory?

It shows that he pays attention when you talk, cares about you and possibly likes you. It happened in the same day so even if I wouldn’t forget something that fast. This year I was talking to a girl about what I wanted to major in when I was in college and she said she remembered me telling her that. That was 2 years ago

If I like someone, I'd remember the little things. It's nice he was so attentive.

Yes and no. Since you said it earlier that day, it doesn't take that much to remember. He probably likes you though, something I would explore if I was you.

It may mean he likes you, because there is obviously a reason why he remembered that. He also cares that you didn’t get your cake which is a good sign
