What can I do about a jealous, possessive boss?

I've had a crush on a male co-worker friend for a while now. He's shy and I'm shy. Recently he's started acting distant towards me. I was confused and started trying to figure out what I had possibly said or done to cause his behavior. As is turns out my male boss, who is possessive of me more than likely got jealous. He (my boss) told my crush that if he sees him in my area talking to me that he will get in trouble, possibly even fired. My crush has been working for our place of employment for 29 years. I care a lot about him. He is a wonderful man and I do not want to risk him losing his job over me. My crush is a maintenance man so if anything breaks down in my area he has to come to my work area and fix it. It sucks that now when I talk to him it's only when a machine needs fixing. He's scared to even talk to me during break and won't talk to me on the phone outside of work. I'm so frustrated by this that I want to cry. What can I do about my boss acting this way?

It really sounds like you have a scumbag for a boss to be honest. Does the guy that you have the crush on know that you have an interest in him? If he doesn't then you should let him know , he is an adult and between the two of you can figure out how to have more of a relationship even if it has to be outside the work place.
