My boyfriend sometimes complains that I put on too much makeup and I wear it everywhere. He doesn't want to kiss me when I wear lipstick. Sometimes he's right while other times he's exaggerating. We had big fights because sometimes he demanded that I take my makeup off before we go out. I believe I control my appearance and no one can command me to wear makeup or not, how should I dress and do my hair. Tomorrow I might go and shave all my hair off if I'm inclined to do so. It's my choise. If my boyfriend doesn't like it, he's free to leave. The important thing is that I can look in the mirror and be satisfied with my appearance, not what others think. It doesn't matter even if it's my boyfriend or my family. Actually, I expect from people who are important for me to accept me the way I am, not trying to change me to fit into their ideals.

He probably has good intent and sees that by wearing make up it is harming you either by self esteem or something else. I don't know you or him so i can't say for sure but I would, not because he's telling me to but because over a period of time, make up harms your face so it sounds like good advise. Take it as advice, not a command.
Nope. I love make up :) and I wear it because I want to. Some days I go without it. Its my choice. Not his. If he loves me he should accept me. :) I even asked my boyfriend the other night what he thought about me dying my hair red... he was like "ummmm... its your hair so go for it." My boyfriend accepted it.
Personally I wear make up because it makes me feel more comfortable in public. I've never, whenever I bought make up, thought if guys like my make up or not. So I really don't care for a guy's opinion on that.
I wear make up for myself, not for others.
I dont spend 20$/€ on a lipstick to impress men
I'd never ask her to stop. But I do prefer girls without make up. Natural beauty is better.
No, that's not his choice. You do whatever the f**k you want to do!

Dont need makeup
to cover up
but if I like it well he shouldn't
give a fu-uh-uck
I find makeup to be an art and very relaxing. I don't wear it 24/7 or for insecurity reasons so if he has a problem he can shove it.No, I'm my own person and can mark decisions on what I want to do or wear. He can ask me not to, but it's still my call
i am fine with it coz i dont like make up and dont wear it often.
but i dont like the idea of boyfriend telling gf not to wear it, this is her choice. From my experience, I wear so little makeup that guys can't even tell I wear any. So I would be pretty shocked if my boyfriend made such a request of me, and I'd tell him I was disinclined to acquiesce to his request.

Probably, but I wouldn't like the fact that he's telling me what to do. That's usually a bad sign.
He doesn't tell me not to but he makes hints like 'oh you look better without makeup i dont get why you wear it' blahh blahhh blahhhh... i dont think i would stop as im a little bit insecure
yeah, then i start to miss going to sephora and putting crap on my face, and putting my fave mascara
Hmm, honestly, i would tell her you look a lot better without make-up and i think you should stop wearing make up. cause i like "you" without it and i think you look amazing without it.
I like wearing some but I'd probably wear a little less, but I wouldn't completely stop wearing some just because he wants so.
I'd "stop wearing make-up" means using light foundation, mascara, and natural lip gloss. Guys think that a natural make up look is au naturel, but, it's really not.
I wouldn't recommend a girl completely give in to this request... I say compromise and wear less.
A guy making that request comes off as very insecure. :-PI certainly would not stop wearing it, if he asked me too.
No, if our relationship depends on that, it's not meant to be.
It's really superfluous request.. Probably i'd gawp to his face :)
No, I would not. It's my face, I do what I want with it.
No I do whatever tf I want
If you do then your stupid..
Yes I would.
I've never worn it.
