What kind of clues would he leave? And how would you feel in my cousins place?

He only talks to me when my cousins not around or when he takes off he'll tell me later *my name*, but before I kinda knew him he would always follow my cousin now he would just stay in our circle (we're stoners) and he would just talk to me about anything any topic he would say just to have small talk. He's very polite to me, and I catch him starring at me but he'll look away or down when he saw that I seen him.
