Why do guys look at me? I'm only 14?

Hi guys, I've been on a holiday in the gold cost for the past 5 days with my parents. Recently I've lost a fair bit of weight, and I'm not perfect but I'm quite happy with how I am compared to before. I don't consider myself attractive at all, so don't think I'm just imagining this because I am full of myself aha. Throughout the holiday my dad has told me a few times, and also my mum that guys have been checking me out and that he was going to punch someone ( dad reaction) and he said most of them were about 18-20. I haven't really believed him, maybe he's saying it to boost my confidence. Tonight we went to this place called the hard rock cafe, and it was very full so we had to wait for a table at the bar. The guy working was probably about 25, and when he served us he sorta did bar tricks and stuff and aimed them towards me, then didn't charge for my drink and stuff and didn't all night. Am I just sorta imagining it or can guys actually be like this? Why would older guys look at someone so young though?

If your 14 and used to be overweight, you're likely fairly physically mature for your age (or at least not on the slow end of the curve).

Human males are made to find human females from puberty to menopause sexually attractive.

Normal human males don't pursue relationships with underage girls because it's inappropriate, because they wouldn't connect well, because they don't think it's ethically right.

Will they notice 14-17 year old girls who are mature and attractive? Yes. They look and that's it.

But people like others they think look good, and not JUST in a sexual way. A bartender might entertain and be 'extra nice' to a 7 year old girl who is especially cute, not because she's a pedophile, but because she's -cute-. A 14 year old who is developing into an attractive young woman, he might not feel that much attraction to, but he might be seeing her thinking 'yeah, she's gonna be cute in a couple years', and in a similar way, just enjoys her company and attention.

- not uncommon for post pubescent, underage girls to draw glances from men. It's normal. Acting on it isn't.
- some guys are legitimate creeps
- many people will smile, and interact more warmly with anyone they find 'good looking', whether they're a cute kid, a stylish adult, someone of the same or opposite sex, etc. It's not always sexual, we're all just drawn to attractive.
- - it's possible you weren't especially cute a couple years ago, but are more broadly looking 'attractive' as a young woman that you're becoming.

People have a way of staring at whatever they find attractive.
When you look good... along comes the admirers.

Hey, at 13 (I was told by pretty much everyone I looked about 11-12) men from ages 18-60 used to check me out all the time. I wasn't developed for my age at ALL (as I said people assumed I were younger). I used to dress modest af, but I guess my face was just so damn tempting.

As a matter of fact, every 1 in 4 men are hebephiles;(people who like to fuck kids from as young as 11-14).

Didn't even read the whole question. If you think you needed to lose weight, ok whatever. But don't let insecurities take you over. Also, ignore those older guys if the bother you. Or freak them out and act like a zebra.

I've looked at so many girls that I thought that were older than they actually were. Maybe it's impossible to say that you're only 14 and people will check you out. When I was 14 every single person I met thought that I was older, so it's totally possible that the same thing is happening to you.

Well there's a few reasons for that.
1. They can just look at you with no intensions of checking you out but some people will think they're checking you out.
2. It depends on how old you look and the type of clothing you're wearing.
3. They can actually think you're older Nd find you attractive

Perhaps you really don't look (and act) all that young. It isn't always easy to tell, and so maybe they think you're 16, 17, or even 18.

Well, it isn't unusual for someone that age to travel on vacations with parents. Even if they are older, but still in college and living at home, they might travel with parents.
