Why does he act differently around me compared to all the other guys?

There is this guy I like and for some reason he acts different around me than all the other guys do. He can talk to any girl normally with no problem but with me not so much. Even my friend noticed he can't seem to find it easy to talk to me. It didn't start out that way, after a couple times we were around each other he started acting as if he was avoiding me yet staring at me when he thought I wouldn't notice and look away when I looked in his direction and act like he was still engaged in a conversation with a girl around him (even though there never was a conversation to begin with). The most previous time I saw him I had to bring myself into the conversation group and then when I was exchanging snap chats with other girls he "demanded" I put my username in his phone so he could add me. Later on he started putting his arm around me and this other girl (the other girl has a bf). Also when I would catch him looking at me that time he wouldn't look away and I would just casually grin. Anyway why does he act like this around me and no other guy does? Any other guy has no trouble trying to talk to me or saying hi to me and etc. My friends think he may like me too but I just can't tell. Please help, thank you xoxo

He might like you and might find it hard to talk to you if he's starting try to flirt a little while his look at you something sweet but it does seem like he likes you and he's trying to get your attention

That he likes you. He's trying to get your attention and its only you he treats differently. Google soem articles on guys and body language and how to tell if they like you. You find them very enlightening.

ugh everytime I do they all say that he will try to talk to you more or be around you more and tease you a lot which is why I am questioning my situation.

Not if he's shy. They are a total different species all together. Sorry.. Should have said look up shy men and body language etc..

There's different degrees. Some guys are only shy around girls they are attracted too.

He clearly likes you, and is clearly just shy enough to be awkward and hesitant dealing with you. If you want this to move along, you'd do well to be blunt with him. Encourage him.

Tell him you know he's interested in you, and it's o. k., because you're interested in him, too. Ask him out. You can be that blunt, and, this is 2015, not 1915 - it's o. k. for you to do the asking.
