If a guy had depression would girls want nothing to do with him?

I feel sad and lonely and unwanted. I feel kind of depressed a lot of the time. I just want to know if no girl would want me because of the way I feel.

if she was a caring and supportive woman then yes she will want you, the difference between women and young girls here is that young girls will want a man like a beast to protect them and arrogance turn them on, they are silly so that's what they want... women and girls that are independent think of things differently, they figure out what you deeply are and will want to be with you for your positives and everything nice they find in you, not for your current attitude, those know what feelings are and know that everybody will feel down at least once in their lives.

stay away from immature girls at this point as they're going to be nasty, I have tried it myself. And surround yourself with good friends and do stuff with them, and as I've said before, look for a woman that wants to listen to you and will understand you at this point.

actually a girl will want you ...if ur depressed all you need is someone who understands ur past and how you become to be depressed because I was depressed and then I met my ex she helped me so much and got me out of it because she listened to what I've been through and was able to relate to it. There are nice girls out there who are willing to listen and always be there for you.

Well, let me tell you it this way, I'm a mama hen type of woman and I am one who seems to be drawn to men who need to be taken care of. My FWB is a very depressed young man and I am there for him as much as he will allow me to be without pushing him in any direction. I can't count the number of times he has literally sat and cried on my shoulders when he has been at the most difficult time in his life. I'm in no way turned off by the fact that he is in a depression, it makes me wanna shelter him and take care of him even more than I do just being his FWB.

I think if you find the right person, they will be able to help you through it and show you the positives in life.

I am depressed a lot and from experience it does hinder a lot of progress with the opposite sex. If you're constantly negative people are going to be less likely to want to be around you because your true personality isn't coming out. It's not that nobody would want you, it's just that you would be less likely to find the right person and you would be less likely to attract people. People are usually attracted to positive people so work on that first

Depending on the person. Some girls would think of the situation differently... Some might be concerned that their kids will have depression (if that person is thinking of marriage.)

but In my opinion,not only would it NOT be a factor, I would probably want to help out my significant other as well.

yes girls would still be with some one like that. but you should go out to clubs or something it helps out. and maybe you would find a girl who really cares and will help you out.

if I liked a guy who was depressed I'd want to help him. lik I wouldn't tell a guy to go away or whatever just because he's not mentally feeling well or whatever.
