Guys, do guys assume girls with a lot of tattoos are sluts?

I love my tattoos. I am really proud of them, but recently I can across a blog saying men assume girlswith alout of tattoos are sluts.

I barely ever go to the bar but when I do I cover up my work because men flock to me like I'm going to sleep with them.

Is this honestly what comes to mind when guys see this on girls? Does this deter you from taking them seriously?

Well, you have to think like this. a tattoo is not something a traditional person would get, isn't it? So usually a person with tattoos might be considered more... opened to stuff, more inclined to trying new things, would be perceived as more of a "daredevil" when it comes to lifestyle.
The person who wrote the blog is most likely a frustrated conservative person.
I will explain why guys hit on you at the bar like flies. It's actually simple: tattoos provide subject for conversation so that's why you get hit on at the bar. The bar itself is a place built/conceived for people to actually meet/talk/socialize with other people. Most of times bars and pubs are pick up places. Hell even girls go with their mind set to find someone and "get lucky"
The fact that you (with tattoos), sit next to a girl with no tattoos, will make you more visible, you attract attention, so the guys who usually are at the bar to pick up girls, would go for you, cause they have things to ask you about. "what does that tattoo stand for?", you answer to be polite and say what it means and bam, the guy has some info on you, which he uses to build on the conversation. If it bothers you, then sure cover up, that would be the best.
Personally I don't find tattoos trashy. I learned to like them. The girl I like now has lots and pretty big ones. She is nowhere near trashy. She is not conservative either. She accepts everyone the way they are and I guess that's why I like her. I have none :)

I actually am not a fan of tattoos on girls. It's not that a guy like me thinks a girl with tats is a slut at all. I just like seeing clean skin. The last two girls I've fallen for had about 5-10 tattoos each and it was the personality and looks that attracted me the most to them. We shared friends that had a lot of tattoos. The girls I liked got tattoos that meant a lot to them and they had really deep reasons as to why they got them. I could look past the tattoos because they were so meaningful and because of how I felt about them.

Here's the catch, and I'll use the last girl's friend as an example. She was 20 and not the most attractive by normal standards but I fell for her really bad, she was wild and crazy but fun and amazing. I would have worshiped her if she felt the same even if she would have gotten a lot more tattoos. Her friend on the other hand, was 35 with a full sleeve and many more elsewhere, but she just looked trashy to me, and her husband was her artist, who did a good job... But I'd never find her attractive and the tattoos made her even less attractive in my opinion.

I think that's the difference really. The right guy will look past the tattoos and see you if that's what they want to see. Some guys like me normally can't stand tattoos but can do that with the right girl, others can't. If the tattoos mean a lot to you and you explain that then it might help.

I think slutty is the wrong word for this question, I'd substitute it for trashy. Too many tattoos can sometimes look trashy, and when I see a lot of tats then I also tend to think that a woman might be older than she actually is depending on her looks.

Sorry. I know it's a generalization but that's how it is. Personal experience tells a lot of guys that tattoos=slut. Look at any p*rno , 90% of them have tats somewhere on their body, same goes for piercings.

I honestly avoid girls with tattoos for various reasons:
1. They're too wild for me.
2. They're too independent for me.
3. They would find me boring.
4. Tats are unattractive.

I'd be totally cool with her and strike up conversation in passing but I would never take her seriously. That's not to say that I'd use them. I'm a pretty serious dude so all that means is that I would not get involved with them AT ALL. I seek out "good girl" types. I've always had the settle-down mentality.

Around the world women with ink are working girls. The tramp stamp in other countries are actual advertisments for sex. A tattoo always means poor judgment and in many places in the world you cannot enter the country. The USA has began to limit persons with ink from entering the USA.

Girls who have ink are easier, follow the thought process, they scar their bodies with no clue that having a good life has been cut in half. So many men cannot take them home to meet their mothers, they are just for sex.

That doesn't have anything to do with it. I've talked to girls with a good amount of tattoos and they were very down to earth. It's just one of those things that's in style at the moment I think. If I see a girl without any tattoos I always try to mention it at some point and compliment them on it since I don't like them. It's not a deal breaker though. Just I like I don't think it's fair that girls reject me for being short I don't think it's fair to not give a girl a chance just cause she has tattoos.

I wouldn't necessarily consider a woman with ink a slut, but I do consider them to be bad decision makers. No woman commits to a hairstyle for the rest of her life, nor to the same dress or same pair of shoes, but she'll get something permanently drilled into her skin? Ever see a tattoo age? After 10 or 20 years they lines blur, the skin stretches and that tat you're proud of looks like hell. I wouldn't necessarly consider such a woman a slut, but I don't think I'd trust her judgement on anything.

I remember a study that came out a few years ago at a beach men approached and anticipated a greater chance of success when the woman had a back tattoo. I don't know if they were consciously thinking it.

If anything I probably think she'd choose a guy with tattoos over me.

I think they are uneducated morons who don't expect to ever get a decent job in their life (assuming these are all in places that cannot be hidden by clothes.).

Tatts indicate impurity to me. Whenever I see a girl walking by and think of how cute and agelical they look, then I see a tattoo... and I'm like noooo... Also I think that girls w/ tattoos are likely not virgins anymore (not sluts, just sexually active). And even that is a no-go for me.

Tattoos aren't hot for me (but I'm sure it is to some). And I'm not proud to admit this but, I've yet to find a female p*rnstar that doesn't have a tattoo. Most of the time it's in the lower back.

I have many tattoos myself... mine are all above the elbow on my arms and my chest and my legs.. so when i wear a shirt and jeans you can't see them. But like today i was wearing a tank top and shorts. I was just relaxing at home. I went to Wal-Mart and i noticed several women stare at me.. but if i'm covered up no one ever stares at me... so i felt a little self conscious because i'm a really good person but i have and i like tatoos... my point is this. Many sluts do have tattoo, it's well known, but that doesn't mean every girl with tattoos is a slut, hell, I would like a girl with one or two tattoos, and I won't date a slut.
I wouldn't instantly assume that you're a slut just because you have tattoos. Slutiness is related to someone's behavior, not the amount of tattoos they have.

Actually, any tattoos I find really unattractive and it gives me an immediate impression of being low class/morally loose, etc., but a lot of tattoos makes me look away entirely. God created the female body so majestically flawless in character, than anything to mar that image detracts greatly from her beauty and, seemingly, her character, as well - in my opinion, that is.

I wouldn't say they necessarily make you "slutty" but the reality is most people enjoy sex. A girl with tattoos is likely more open to have casual sex over a girl that doesn't.

Well, I don't assume they're sluts, per se, but I do assume that they're 'edgy' girls. By that, I mean I think they're unconventional and pretty forward about what they want. This might include sex as well as other aspects of life.

There have been some girls with tats who I've liked, but mostly I assume that they wouldn't go for a clean-cut guy like me. Most guys take tats to be a pretty strong statement that the girl is a certain type of person.

I don't assume that a girl with tat's is a slut. That's fairly narrow-minded... maybe rooted in some religious mindset that if a girl gets tattoos she doesn't have any physical self-worth, and if that's the case, she may be just as free to expose her body or share it if her body is a canvas.

Personally I do not like tattoos on girls. I see them more and more. Of course 1 or 2 discreet is different than a sleeve. I think I would just move on without judgment. There are a lot without tattoos. I think it speaks to a lifestyle or mindset more than being moral or immoral. I would not initiate contact but would not shun contact if she initiated. I would be VERY careful however.

I don't. I'm not sure what other guys are thinking, but I'm thinking the reason why you get approached more when your tattoos are showing is because guys probably thing, "hey tattoos, I can talk to her about those."

In our experience, girls with tattoos in general are sluttier than ones that aren't. You might be an exception, but exceptions don't make the rule.

It's a basic principle. if a girl is finding having her body permanently altered with ink, she probably isn't too hyper about what guys she lets have free reign with her body.

No tattoos is just normal. A lot of large, nicely done tattoos makes me admire the artwork.

Not sluts, but definitely someone confident. I see girls with tattoos as people bold people, they are not afraid of sharing their opinion. Some men could find that intimidating, others sexy. I find them attractive, but one thing is for sure, you will attract men with the same desire. I think it also sends out a message that you're wild, men love wild girls, that might be the reason behind such juvenile behavior. That site, just ignore it. The author must have been shallow.

No I've never made that connection in my head when I see a female with a lot of tattoos. And I think a female with a lot of tattoos can be sexy. Just depends on the person.

For me it depends on the amount of tattoos. I only think excessive amounts would make me think slut/ badly about a girl.
