i am not now nor will i ever be a fan of body art tatoos or other.
but i woyld be an idiot to not accept tgat tgere is some very meaningful even attractive work on some.
i recall seeing a woman with tattoos of her babies foot prints names and birthdays on her back. and i thought wow. now that is a powerful statement to make.
i saw a stripper once ( we actually became good platonic friends ). with a vine using delicate colors and butterflies starting at her left ankle winding arount up to tge back of her neck. a stunning woman to start with but mixed with her demeaner was actually quite an enhancement to her appearance.
but more often than not people get trash painted on them.
so with rare exceptions i find tattoos make a woman less attractive. this is just a personal oppinion. i find womens bodies any shape size or age to be awe inspiring. but most with tatoos being towards the lowers side of attractiveness
The day my wife surprised me with a tattoo I think was the last time we had sex.
I was just so upset that she destroyed her otherwise beautiful legs with an ugly tattoo.
I was a tattoo she copied from her youngest son; one he got in response to the death of my wife's middle son. So, I could understand and accept this tattoo - he'd only been dead for not even 6 months - but, still, she did this without talking to me about it and I HATE tattoos. It destroyed her legs - she couldn't wear skirts anymore - certainly at work.
I love my wife, but I don't believe we have had sex since that weekend she visited me in Chicago and surprised me with that.
Well first of all you're NOT ALLOWED to say that your wife has destroyed HER BODY. It's her body and if she wanted a tattoo it's her choice and she clearly don't have to ASK FOR YOUR PERMISSION on getting one. I can get why it upsets you and taste is really individual. But it's rlly uncalled for to give her any kind of fault. I also can get why you'd like that she talked about you before it but I guess she kinda knew that you'd be against it and if it's so important to her let her just have this tattoo even if you don't like it. You can't change it anyway so it's rlly unnecessary to kinda "punish" her for that. Talk with her about it and your feelings but accept her choices.

As my wife yelled at me when we were first together "You have to start thinking like you are in a couple and you can't make these decisions by yourself anymore."
Well, that's exactly what she didn't do with her leg - she didn't make a "couple decision"... and she does that a lot.
She doesn't need my permission - but she needs my input and surprises like that are not acceptable in a marriage...
You will learn this lesson when you get married... or after you are divorced.

A girl with tattoos has to be attractive in spite of her tattoos, she can't be attractive because of them, you can't just cover an ugly girl with tattoos and have everybody fooled. "Oh wow, I thought she looked like a fucking pig but I guess she has tattoos, so. . ."

IANA therapist but... I don't see how they add anything to a woman's physique. They aren't creative. They are permanent (Thank god reason prevailed and I didn't get the Scooby Doo tattoo with my fraternity brothers). If I see a woman with a tattoo I first think that she is unhappy with herself as she is. I don't do low self esteem women.
I have zero data points to back up my assertion. I look at the permanence and the fact that nobody sane would purposefully try to make themselves look worse and assume that they are doing it to make themselves look better. Why do they need to look better? Because they don't like how they look. From there it's a short hop to 'they have low self esteem.'
Some do. I don't know what statements you would make with a tattoo. Your profile says you are 17. Based on your question I am assuming that you want a tattoo (or two or three or a sleeve). There's no rush. You can always get it next month. Things that seem like 'must have' items today turn into 'Yeah; I wanted it at the time' things later. How do I know? I'm three times your age. I've seen more winters than you (and tattoos). If you are doing it to attract a boy I recommend you do not. He can walk away from you but you will always have the tattoo.
Well thanks that you're worried about me, but I asked out of curiosity and bc I want to get myself tattooed anyway. I thought of it over a year now and I still do. The tattoo has a special meaning to me and I know it'll never be a "wanted it at the time". Bc then I wouldn't have waited and just found some creepy tattoo artist who does underage tattoos. But I can see what are you referring to. But also it's such a lame excuse to say "oh you're so young so you don't know anything." Since I'm here I get to here that everyday and it's rlly bad if you judge a person this much by their age. Bc I know a lot of older people who do a lot of shit I wouldn't think of. So next time Id like to have you're critic but not about my age thanks ^^
Find a person you respect and admire and then ask them. I have zero skin in the game so my advice is worth what you pay for it. I know many people with tattoos. Many of them regret or at least say that they wouldn't do it again if they had a choice. Being old doesn't make make me smarter than you. Being old gives me lots of anecdotal evidence you haven't heard. Your parents will tell you what they want. Someone like a grandmother will give you a straight answer. Good luck.
It depends on the overall appearance of the girl. This is like saying, would Jack Black look good if he dressed the same way as a gangster rapper. With tattoo's on his knuckles that say "Gnome Sayn"
The answer to that question is obviously no. Same with girls and tattoos.
Girls (and guys) that are covered in tattoos are very unattractive. Some tattoos are ok and may even be more attractive. Also, face tattoos are never good as well as large tattoos on the chest, back, stomach, or neck.
Tatoes are just made for fun or look cool but it doesn't affect a person personality

I have dated a lot of women. EVERYONE with multiple tattoos had some sort of abuse and or abandonment issues from childhood. They are seeking fulfillment through art and use that canvas to cover up and or exploit their embedded pain.
I usually feel saddened for people with multiple random tattoos because you can see their addiction to pain and their screams for help.
The same goes for men. I'm less saddened for them because weak men disgust me.
Well this is my experience with these women so it is not judgmental as is an observation.
The second part of my opinion stated my feelings for those types with that affliction.
Honestly tattoos are irrelevant to me when it comes to a girl. Sure sometimes you can learn something about her from the tattoo but it doesn't make her any more or any less attractive.

A small percentage of guys prefer girls with tattoos. However, most guys do not find that tattoos, one or more, makes a girl more attractive and not a small number of guys prefer that a girl not have any tattoos. Therefore, unless a girl is attracted to the type of guys that prefer tattoos, tattoos can only make a girl appear less attractive. They never make her more desirable.

what the tattoos symbolize to her.
also if there not easily coverable. they can impact her chances of getting or keeping a job long term. however that's same with guys.
Yes girls for me become more attractive but not always tattoos look good on some of them not all. And if she has few it's nice but overdoing it is just not right. Like tattoo on face or neck or even covering the whole leg it looks good for a while but later on they get old.
Not at all. The reverse is true. One or two small, tasteful tattoos in appropriate places wouldn't be a deal breaker, but I would still prefer a partner with zero tattoos.

I think it is by far the other way around. Tattoos deface the human body like bills or graffiti on the walls of a building; the look of the girls in the top pictures is disgusting.

To me tattoos aren't much different then colored hair: whether it suits someone or not, depends on their style
I don't like excessive tatts, but the Girl I am most attracted to has three. They aren't distracting and are on her arm. One is quote and the other two are animals. They aren't a deal breaker, as it doesn't impact her pheromones. I don't like face tatts or excessive amounts, but a couple on the arm or one or two on the leg doesn't bother me.
I have a opposite feeling than most of guys here, so I would say that it depends on like personal preference and I like tatts if they are meaningfull/cute and professionally done. Still I don't like most full body tattoos that feels like overdone stuff
Okay. So personally I love tattoos. I find them very attractive on women especially well done intricate pieces that have personal meaning. That being said I would never say that someone has to have them to be more attractive. Just something I enjoy
To me yes, heavily tattooed girls are very attractive and sexy. Especially very feminine attractive girls, the girl has to be already attractive without the tattoos. Full sleeves are the best. Maybe I like tattooed girls also because I am heavily tattooed.

They are just ugly ink blobs to me that look 100% unnatural and gross.

Girls with tattoos do give me a special vibe... To stay away from them.. Honestly tattoos add a bit of edge to a girl.. Like she ride motorcycles in the freeway or somethin. I think none tattoo girls look more pure.. I prefer minimal tattoos though..
I prefer no tattoos but the right tattoo in the perfect spot by the right artist can be sexy as he'll. How often does that happen though.
I love tattoos on a girl but to a degree. I don't prefer her to be entirely covered in tattoos. I prefer her to have lots of meaningful tattoos scattered around with plain skin visible too.
Well girls with tattooes are usually more promiscuous from my experience, I have some myself so I don't really hold a bias against her however, but I do judge her more subconsciously
Depends on the type of tattoos. Is she's covered in skulls and that kinda thing in all black ink. That's a no for me.
A girl with a tattoo is less attractive to me than a girl without.
Visually, it's ugly, and I can't really emphasize with the mindset behind it.
And since I cannot emphasize I have to assume that they are a person who I won't like.

The opposite for me. They are a complete turn off. I don't know why people get them at all, but it's especially a turn off on women. It's like graffiti to me.
Small ones that don't stand out are fine. Big ones are a turn off to me.
