What do guys do when they realized they picked the wrong girl?

I'm not kidding myself thinking this guy will come back to me claiming to have made the wrong choice buuut... It has to happen occasionally that when the guy picks the wrong girl he tries to undo it. So how do they handle trying to get that unpicked girl back?

Guys can be shallow they only feel they picked the wrong girl when they meet her friend and they think she is hotter. They are only thinking with their dick of course and they will blame everyone but themselves for their bad decision

They break up with the girl. Guys are less prone on wasting time in someone they have lost interest in.

If they feel they made the wrong decision breaking up with the girl, they try to woo them back with bullshit.

When I do what you described to women, it is not because I want them back, it is because I wan't to control them. What you just described is a form of control.

So if a guy is dating a girl, meets another one and chooses to not cheat/leave his girlfriend but loses it when the other girl leaves despite not caring about his girlfriends attempts to leave that's control too? I guess my point is when the non girlfriend is treated better but not chosen what do you take away from that?

If he has a girlfriend and his non girlfriend (side girl) is treated better, this means he is still trying to control you. The answer is simple so let me explain, he treats you better, which means he treats his other girlfriend worst (no shit). However, you are under the impression that he will come back around. You will always be the second choice. The fact that you are willing to stay around for him really tells us about your self esteem. Is he really that great?

I bailed. I'm just trying to figure out what to do if he comes back around. It's been going on awhile and not your typical side girl situation. More like a best friend turned something else and he tried to back track after using a strong L word and ran back to the gf. He's important to me of course but I agree he's putting me second and always will.

It hasn't been that long... like a few days. The most we've not talked in two years is two days. it's likely he's going to fold shortly and i'm going to have to react or not.

What makes him worth waiting for? I can't fathom waiting for somebody. There are SO many other people out there. He must be close to perfect on your list.

Just the closest I've gotten to another person in 6+ years. He was my best and closest friend who helped me get out of my 5 year abusive relationship. I didn't wait I dated around but it didn't work very well.
