Why is he Hot and Cold with Me?

Me and this guy started texting around December. He told me he liked me. I told him he is not my type really and he said we hold a good conversations and have fun together and im his type. So we starting hanging out and texting lots, and we became dating. It lasted for about 1 month, before he broke it off. He said we we dont hold a conversation and im to loud for him. So we left it. So we became friends with benefits after that and that lasted a month and half. Then he went all hot and cold on me. One day he was fine with me and we had a good laugh and some days he would just ignore me and be mean, this is all at work, as we dont see each other out of work much. I was told he still likes me by our co workers Then he started dating his ex girlfriend. So after a while we didn't really talk only at work. One night we hung together with a couple of other mates. That night my mates left and he stayed, dont know why. We talked to late in the night and had sex (which I know we shouldn't of). But then why would he have sex with me when he has a GF. So Im confused whats going on. Does he still want me? Is his girlfriend a rebound, because we had sex while they are still together. But he never texted me the next day or days later. When we work together is just normal.1 week later i got drunk and I was all over him (embarrassing I know) but he went along with it ( Nothing Happend). I dont know whats up with him. I feel like he is giving me mixed signals. Im happy being just friends with him. When we work together we will tease each other lots, but sometimes he will just fully act cold towards me at work like i did something wrong. But I usually dont do anything.

Its hard that we work together, and I feel Like he doesn't respect me. So im coming to turns that I defs dont to be with him, But I enjoy hanging out with him, he is fun to be around and knows how to have fun. Yea i think I just need to find why he is always hot and cold with me, cause it so stupid. I really just want to have it over and done with.

I did address him once. We were working together and he was mad at me at work like everytime we workd. I told him we need to be professional, so we can't keep going on like this, He just said Im ok with everything. Everything is Good. Im just like are you blind lolz.

I think he still likes you but was hurt after your guys' breakup and tried to get "over" you by going out with his ex-girlfriend. I wouldn't advise you to date him again simply because he had the audacity to cheat on his girlfriend which means he could possibly do that same with you if you two ever went out again. As for his bi polar like behaviour with you, address him on the issue by asking him why he's still acting this way and let him be honest.

Asker, if you have a doubt that he doesn't respect you then it is best to end the friendship especially since you two evidently have history so it's unlikely that he's all fine and dandy regarding his attitude and feelings towards you.

Sounds like he might be manipulating you. Seems like a cliche' situation of it where he shows you attention then weens you from it so you'll crave it more. If not then at the very least he has some issues of bi polar. Really it doesn't matter which it is since you should just move on regardless he's bad for you...
