Why is he always so hot and cold how he feels about me?

I’ve been talking to this guy casually for a year. I really love him and we are super close. I decided to give an ultimatum because he’s moving away either your with me or not, I can’t text you all day & come to visit him if there is no title. I also said I would be interested in friends as well and even offered to stop talking to him. He begged me to continue to talk to him and said he would be interested in progressing things further. We got along really well and the texts just got shorter and then he wouldn’t answer for 6 hours at a time. I told him once again we could just cut it off if he’s not interested because I make time for people I care about it’s not hard. He then said I’m annoying and to clingy... but he’s the one who wanted to continue on with it. Whenever I’m not interested or angry with him is the only time he really will show any effort. I know there is no title, but time is still being invested and that’s something you can’t get back. I does make me really upset to be ignored too.

I think he is not sure what to do! Continue with you or not? that’s the reason why he is hot & cold! And I hate it when guys do that.. I have been through it and it’s so hard! I think you keep talking to him but also start to accept the fact that this might not work out.. also mirror his doings.. if it takes long for him to reply to you than you take that long amount of time to reply too. Don’t be ready all the time he messages you &you reply right away , no, you be hot and cold too’


You are not clingy you have the right to worry. You are a girl you deserve respect and have to know what’s up so you don’t waste your time with a guy who doesn’t seek same relationship ~

It sounds like this was a casual thing, but you caught feelings and want more but he doesn't. I agree he should just tell you that instead of playing the hot/cold game, but people will treat you the way you allow them to.. of there's no "title', you don't owe him anything, don't waste time you can't get back on someone who doesn't deserve your time off they aren't willing to give you theirs

You clingy wanting attention control freak.. why don't you just stop talking to him all together. that way he won't be ignoring you it'll be someone else that isn't moving away..
