Can I fix a relationship if I accidentally moved too fast?

He hasn't messaged me in a week now and we used to talk everyday. My last message wasn't a question or anything - I partially ended a conversation but he hasn't started one up again. He used to be very interested but his lack of communication shows it has dwindled and I think it is because I was moving too fast.

Is it still possible for me to win him over and show that I don't go that fast? (I admit I let my excitmement that my crush liked me get to me) Can he still possibly like me?

Most people won't admit to this so it's good that you are already taking that step. Most people in relationships don't usually work at the same speed and on the same page as the other person all the time. I think you need to take a break for at least a couple of days and see what happens. But after that if he still hasn't messaged you I would call him, texting means you can't be bothered and he will probably think you don't care enough. Ask him if he wants to talk and make sure you guys are somewhere where you won't be interrupted. Get him to tell you what you did wrong and even though it might be a bit sad it will help. Don't force him or yell at him it will make it worse. Talking and communication in a relationship always helps. Make sure you keep me updated and I will help in anyway I can. Hope all goes well. :)

Out of curiosity, how were you moving too fast? You mean communicating too frequently?

I don't message that fast (but I did have some days (around 5) where we would text for an hour straight consecutively). I was going too fast because I invited him to study (he went to all of them) a couple of times.

The study sessions aren't a problem. The issue is that you were messaging him every day. Cut back on the messaging, and try to spend some time together at least once a week, if you can.
