Girls, when you respond "it's fine" to an apology, do you mean it or do you still hold a grudge?

If I've got a problem I wish to talk about with my boyfriend, I'll tell him. If I realize tensions are running too high and we're just gonna go around in circles in an attempt to resolve things, I'll use the 'F word' to just get him off my case and move on.
It's not 100% sincere in that I'm happy with what happened, more like I've realized it's not gonna get any better and I'm not willing to break up over something so insignificant/petty.

1. It depends on the girl. If she is very forgoving then maybe she means it.
2. Saying "It's fine." doesn't mean that she is "cool" with you. It just means she is willing to put whatever problem y'all had behind, but not necessarily be bffs/bfs again. In other words, she is willing to forgive but not forget.

Once I apologize (like saying "It's fine"), what happened is in the past, forgiven but not forgotten. I don't forget it because... it's pretty impossible to forget something that's stored in the brain unless if I have an accident. But I don't bring it up to throw in their face.
